I am someone who believes in small things that life has to offer. So I try to live in moments and enjoy the little things that make our life valuable.
If you had not been in the radio, what would you be doing?
Even if I was not working in radio I think that I would still be working in the development field and still be dealing the youth issues, may be through a different medium.
Who is a 'Youth':
A person who feels young at heart and looks forward to future with enthusiasm is a Youth.
What did you want to be as a child?:
Pilot, Actress, Scientist, Social worker etc etc etc.
SSMK and ME:
My life has changed a lot after joining SSMK; my perspective on things has drastically shifted. I get a chance of getting exposed to the diversities of problems that youths from all the parts of Nepal are facing. Being one of the program producers, I feel responsible towards all young friends who tune into our program every week. It gets quite overwhelming at times as we can see that our listener entrust us with their deepest secrets, and even their most personal matters. And being a young person myself, I feel like I am also solving my own problem when I am suggesting on theirs, as the problems that we youths face are not very different.
Sometimes I feel like it is a great responsibility but the love and trust that we get from our listeners, who have actually become best friends for us, that force always keeps me going. People think that it is us who are inspiring the youth of Nepal, but for me it's the other way around, it is my friends from all parts of the country who inspire me and make me feel that I am actually part of a change….a change for better !!!
